The free site
The listings, place pages and past results are free to read. The monthly roundup email is free, and every copy has an unsubscribe link.
Pro
Pro costs $49 a year in Canadian dollars, charged by Stripe when you join. It renews each year on the date you joined, at the price shown on the Pro page at the time, and we will email you before a renewal if the price changes. You get email alerts for newly published sales in the areas you choose, a reminder before bids close, and the two spreadsheets.
Cancelling and refunds
Cancel any time from the account link in your welcome email. Pro then stays on until the end of the year you paid for and does not renew. If Pro is not useful in your first 30 days, write to hello@taxsalewatch.ca and we will refund the full payment.
The listings are not advice
Every listing comes from a public notice in the Ontario Gazette, and we link to it. We copy the details carefully, but notices can contain errors, and a municipality can cancel a sale at any time, often because the owner paid. Before you bid, read the official notice and the municipality’s tender package, and confirm the details with the municipality. Nothing on this site or in our emails is legal, tax or financial advice.
Our liability
If something we send is wrong or late, the most we owe you is what you paid us in the last twelve months. We are not responsible for a bid, a purchase, or a missed deadline.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters to Pro members, we will email you before the change takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario.
