Tax Sale Watch Pro

Ontario tax sales in your area, sent to you

The register stays free. Pro is for people who bid: an email when a sale is published where you want to buy, a reminder before bids close, and the whole register as a spreadsheet. $49 a year.

What you get

  1. 01

An email when a sale lands in your area

Choose the counties, districts or towns you would buy in, and the most you would bid. When the Ontario Gazette publishes a sale that fits, you hear about it that day or the next morning, with each property's minimum bid and assessed value.

  2. 02

A reminder 3 days before bids close

With the properties still open and what a tender needs: a sealed envelope, delivery before 3:00 p.m. local time on closing day, and a deposit of at least 20 percent of your bid.

  3. 03

Every open property in one spreadsheet

Roll number, PIN, assessed value, minimum bid, bid as a share of assessed value, minimum deposit, municipal contact and the notice link for all 70 properties open now. The file is rebuilt every time you open it.

  4. 04

Every Ontario tax sale since 2018

702 past sales, one row each, with the lowest and highest minimum bid. See which towns sell often and what they usually ask.

Questions

Does Pro list sales the free site does not?

No. Both come from the same Ontario Gazette notices, and every sale stays free on this site. Pro saves you checking every Saturday, and it only tells you about the places you would actually buy in.

How do I cancel?

Every Pro email links to your account page. Cancel there and the plan will not renew. Your alerts keep coming until the year you paid for runs out.

Can I get my money back?

Yes. If Pro is not useful in your first 30 days, write to hello@taxsalewatch.ca and we will refund it.

Can I change my areas later?

Yes, as often as you like, from the same account page. Changes apply from the next morning's check.

Is this legal or investment advice?

No. It is a list of public notices, sorted and sent on time. Speak to a lawyer before you buy at a tax sale, and confirm every detail with the municipality.
