If you sign up for the free roundup
We store your email address and the area you told us you care about (earlier sign-ups also answered a question about paid alerts). We use them only to send you tax sale emails and to decide what to build. We do not sell or share your email. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your details at any time.
If you join Pro or hold a place for it
Payment is handled by Stripe, and we never see your card number. We keep your email address, the areas and budget you chose, and the Stripe ids for your customer record and plan, so we can send your alerts and cancel when you ask. If you held a place before Pro opened, we email you once when it opens. Write to us and we will delete your details, apart from the payment records Stripe and tax law require.
Visit counts
We use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and does not build a profile of you. We run no advertising trackers.
The property data
The listings come from public notices in the Ontario Gazette. The notices identify land, not people, and we do not publish owner names.
